FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: in the hydrogen detecting sensor, the working - catalytic electrode is made in form of a layer of titanium oxide nanotubes, on which a platinum group metal is deposited. The platinum group metal can be added in form of platinum nanoclusters (10 to 50 nm). In the method of making said sensor, nanotubes for the catalytic sensitive electrode are made from high-temperature isothermal evaporation of chloride flux, containing initial precursors, after which the nanotubes are platinized through decomposition of hexachloroplatinic acid. Using layer-by-layer powder compression method, the sensor is put into a case, which is also a press mould. ^ EFFECT: more stable and faster operation of the electrochemical sensor. ^ 3 cl, 6 dwg, 1 tbl |
