PURPOSE: An automatic opening and closing device of a safety door for a construction lift is provided to operate the safety door without a separate power supply by automatically locking or unlocking the door. CONSTITUTION: An automatic opening and closing device of a safety door for a construction lift comprises a door frame(2), a door unlocking unit(10), a door activating unit(20), and a door return unit(30). The door frame it installs on a door(1) and supports the door to be opened and closed. The door unlocking unit is installed on the door and a door frame to lock or unlock the door, and is connected to a door drive motor(3) of a lift(5) to release the door when the drive motor operates. The door activating unit is installed on the door frame to open and close the door and connected to the door unlocking unit. The door return unit is installed in the door activating unit and elastically supports the door activating unit to force the opened door to be closed.
