FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering. The reactor for partial oxidation of a fluid reaction mixture in the presence of heterogeneous granular catalyst has one or more rectangular parallelepiped shaped modules of plate-type heat exchangers. Each one of them is formed by two or more rectangular plate-type heat exchangers. The heat exchangers are placed parallel each other with formation of a gap, which is filled with heterogeneous granular catalyst, through which the fluid reaction mixture flows. The reaction heat is absorbed by a heat carrier flowing through the plate-type heat exchangers. The reactor also has a cylindrical shield, which removes pressure from the modules of plate-type heat exchangers, completely surrounding them and including a cylindrical shell and caps which close both its ends. The longitudinal axis of the shield is parallel to the plane of plate-type heat exchangers. One or more sealing elements are fitted such that, the fluid reaction mixture, besides flowing through inner areas of the reactor, bordered by the caps, flows only through the formed gap. ^ EFFECT: provision for cheap, stable and uninterrupted operation of the reactor. ^ 26 cl, 21 dwg |
