PURPOSE: A receptacle, an electronic device and a power save network system for preventing unnecessary power consumption are provided to prevent the loss of electronic device from surge current by interrupting the current which flows in the electronic device. CONSTITUTION: A receptacle(1) includes a receiver(8), a controller(7), and a switching unit(4). The receiver receives the power shut down signal received from the user terminal positioned outside through a network. The controller transmits switch off signal by the power shut down signal received from the user terminal. The switching unit blocks the current through the electronic device connected to the convenience receptacle socket according to the switch off signal received from the controller.
