The tire manufacturing device has pressure medium connections (8,9) that are provided in or near the distal ends (81,91) of building drum halves (3,4), respectively. Tube sets (12,14) are connected to the mounting rings (15,16) of the building drum halves, which are rotary joined to the distal ends to form a fluid connection between the tubes of the tube sets and the pressure medium connections of the building drum halves.
