PURPOSE: A high/low beam converting apparatus for a car which adopts HID lamp is provided to prevent the exposure angle due to the car oscillation. CONSTITUTION: A high/low beam converting apparatus for a car which adopts HID lamp comprises a HID lamp(10), a slide head(20), a bracket(30), and a body(40). In the slide head, the HID lamp is installed in the forward direction. The bracket is connected to the end part of the slide head to be rotated up and down. The magnet(31) is installed in the outer side of the bracket. In the body, a part of bracket and slide head is inserted. A spring(45) is installed to push out the bracket to the forward direction from the body inside. The coil of electromagnet(41) is installed to face the magnet. An angle retaining bracket(44) is protruded into the shape which pushes the slide head up in the bottom side.
