A method for treating post-traumatic neuropathy comprises the separation of the median nerve of the forearm, the neurolysis, the dissection of the cicatricial areas of epineurium following anterior and posterior semicircles of the nervous trunk in the compression area, the formation of the vascularized flap with the peduncle, the approximation of the median nerve to the vascularized flap, and their fixation with interrupted sutures. The round pronator muscle is opened, and the vascularized flap is tailored by dissecting the tissues of the pronator in frontal direction, and the bed is formed. The lower part of the pronator near the radius is partially cut. The median nerve is embedded positioning is along the dissected tissues of the vascularized flap allowing for the complete closure of the area of the defect. |
