A method for extracting the secondary cataract in pseudophakic eyes consists in the limbic incision, the dissection of the cataract film fitting the intraocular lens, and the suturing of the incision. The secondary cataract is extracted from transciliary access by generating the flap with the aid of the scalpel and the vitreal scissors fitting the intraocular lens. The flap, Adamiuk-Elshing spheres and the anterior layers of the vitreal body are extracted with the aid of vitreotome following the filling of the anterior chamber with viscoelastic supplied via the limbic incision. At the end of the operation, viscoelastic is aspirated. |
