PURPOSE: A pretreatment of wood biomass or a method for producing bio fuel using the same is provided to effectively remove compound which suppresses fermentation and growth of microorganism. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing bio fuel using wood biomass comprises: a step of preparing saccharification liquid from wood biomass; a step of adding enzyme to the saccharification liquid to polymerize fermentation inhibitor; a step of precipitating fermentation inhibitor from the saccharification liquid; a step of removing precipitate; and a step of fermenting the saccharification liquid.
