A rod packing has a pressure flange and chambers in which there are packing and scraper rings. To increase operation reliability, to decrease metal consumption of compressor (pump) equipment and to improve assemblage of packing and conditions of its servicing it consists of two main component parts – pack of chambers and pressure flange with chamber, or several chambers connected to each other in cylinder by means of pins to one component unit. |
