PURPOSE: A method converting a broadcast selection menu and an IPTV service device performing the method are provided to display a program guide after reconfiguring the selection menu of the broadcast channel. CONSTITUTION: A method converting a broadcast selection menu and an IPTV service device performing the method are as follows. A menu setting input unit(201) receives the menu set in which a viewer inputs. The broadcast contents menu parsing unit parses the broadcast contents menu. The broadcast contents menu parsing unit reconstructs the lower menu of the broadcast contents menu the residual menu. The broadcast content menu display unit indicates the re-organized broadcast contents menu in the display device.
