PURPOSE: A method for providing knowledge management service is provided to reproduce knowledge by providing the source of the knowledge, and to share and search various knowledge information. CONSTITUTION: A method for providing knowledge management service is comprised as follow steps. A user accesses to a website of the URL address according to the user setting. The content of the web page provided by a website is selected according to a user operation(ST10). The content of the web page allocated to a user as the unit element of the knowledge is stored to a personal management area(ST20). The knowledge stored in the personal management area and knowledge folder is called as micro knowledge. A knowledge folder comprising a hierarchy folder structure according to user set up is created, and the name of the knowledge folder is decided(ST50). More than one micro knowledge is copied form a personal management area according to user set up to the knowledge folder(ST60). According to the folder structure of the knowledge folder, the title of the knowledge folder is arranged in the table of contents. The micro knowledge is arranged to each content and integrated to produce macro knowledge(ST70).
