PURPOSE: A show case capable of reducing electrical energy is provided, which enables a consumer to easily recognize the food exhibited in the show case. CONSTITUTION: A show case capable of reducing electrical energy comprises a cabinet(10) in which the shelf is equipped; a blower(20) for spraying the air to a shelf; a heat exchanger(30) which is equipped in the flow channel of the air sprayed to the shelf and absorbs the heat energy in the air; and a lighting device(50) for irradiating the light to the shelf. The lighting device includes a fluorescent lamp, a power supply unit, and an inverter converting DC power supply into the AC power supply.
