The clock has a frame (2) suspended on a chassis (1) by a horizontal axle (4), where the frame is wedged by tension of a cord (7) of a weight (8). A return unit perpendicularly places an axle of a descending column of the weight away from the horizontal axle. The return unit is integrated to the chassis and adjusts a position of a cord section (7') located between the return unit and the frame for wedging the frame. The return unit is formed of a pair of barrels (11, 12).
