PURPOSE: A pre-treatment apparatus for separating rubber and iron core from waste tire scrap is provided to prevent the dust generated in a crushing process from scattering to a workplace. CONSTITUTION: A pre-treatment apparatus for separating rubber and iron core from waste tire scrap comprises an upper case(10), lower case, fixing plate, rotary plate, separating drum, cooling water supply pipe(60), screw hopper, dust sucking unit(80), and adsorb-preventive unit. The upper case is connected to a scrap supply hopper(11) and includes an opening at the bottom. The lower case accommodates a hopper case(21) at the inner upper part, an outlet(21a) at the bottom, and opens at the side. The fixing plate includes a plurality of fixing pins in the inward direction of the upper case. The rotary plate is separated from the inner wall of the upper case and rotates. The separating drum is spaced at some distance from the outer circumference of the rotary plate and fixing plate. The cooling water supply pipe is connected to the scrap supply hopper and supplies the cooling water to a crushing space of the upper case. The screw hopper receives the crushed scrap and transfers it in order to discharge the crushed scrap through the outlet. The dust sucking unit communicates the dust inflow space and hopper case and sucks the dust. The adsorb-preventive unit prevents the crushed particles from being stuck between the rear side of the rotary plate and the inner wall of the upper case.
