ENCRYPTING DEVICE BY USB CONNECTION

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of encrypting information read from or written on an existing USB memory without depending on PC-side OSs and applications.

SOLUTION: The encrypting device can be freely attached to or detached from a USB memory having an interface to both of PC and the USB memory and has encrypting and decrypting functions as an independent module structure. Therefore, the encrypting device can ideally reduce a security risk in terms of the use of an existing USB memory by an extremely simple and intuitive operation of pressing an input key for a plurality of times without depending on an operating environment at the PC side and without requesting a complex operation using a PC interface to a user.
