<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving energy efficiency in an air conditioning system. <P>SOLUTION: When the air conditioning system is turned on, a drive control part derives a current upper limit value I<SB>3</SB>corresponding to the capability level of "STRONG" preset by a rotary switch with reference to a current upper limit value table, and increases the driving frequency of a compressor motor. Thus, a current supplied to the compressor motor is increased. When a detected current I of a current detecting part instantaneously exceeds the upper limit I<SB>3</SB>, the drive control part performs such a fine adjustment that the driving frequency of the compressor motor is lowered by a very small amount to decrease the supply current to the motor, thereby reducing the supply current to an outdoor unit to the above upper limit value I<SB>3</SB>or less. Thus, the driving frequency of the compressor motor is controlled so that the current I does not exceed the upper limit value I<SB>3</SB>. The drive control part lowers the driving frequency of the compressor motor with decrease in air conditioning load, and when the temperature of the interior air reaches a fixed range taking the target temperature as reference, the compressor motor is driven at a fixed driving frequency f<SB>2</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
