<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photopolymerizable Japanese lacquer-containing copolymer with improved leveling property and ultraviolet permeability by adding a photopolymerizable acrylate compound to a Japanese lacquer and atomizing gum, a nitrogen-containing substance, and water-in-oil type (W/O type) emulsion particles which are compositions of the Japanese lacquer, and its production technology. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This photopolymerizable Japanese lacquer-containing copolymer is obtained by atomizing the particles of the gum and the nitrogen-containing substance which are compositions of the Japanese lacquer to 1 μm or less of average particle diameter after mixing the acrylate compound made of a photopolymerizable oligomer or monomer with the produced Japanese lacquer or moisture re-added Japanese lacquer. A colored photopolymerizable Japanese lacquer-containing copolymer is also provided by adding pigment. The acrylate compound is added at once or separately to make adjustment to low viscosity, and especially the gum or the nitrogen-containing substance is atomized using an ultrasonic vibration or rotation shearing device. Thereby, a glossy thin-film Japanese lacquer-containing film with improved leveling property and ultraviolet permeability can be formed by curing in seconds and can be extensively utilized as various kinds of ink for printing.
