<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily insert the silent time of a desired length. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A reproducing means 1b outputs an output audio signal to the outside of a computer 1. A recording means 1c stops, when receiving an input audio signal as an audio signal input to the computer 1 while the reproducing means 1b outputs the output audio signal, the outputting of the output audio signal by the reproducing means 1b, and generates recording information recording the input audio signal to store it in a recording information storing means 1d. A silent time adding means 1e refers, when detecting the end of recording of the audio signal by the recording means 1c, to the recording information stored in the recording information storing means 1d to specify a predetermined input audio signal included in the recording information, and obtains a silent time value corresponding to the specific predetermined input audio signal based on the recording time of the input audio signal contained in the recording information.
