<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact liquid level sensor capable of reducing cost by eliminating insert molding or a press-fitting process, and of simplifying the attachment method. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this noncontact liquid level sensor, one wall surface γ of a cover 15 storing a frame 11 inside is made to face an opening part R, to thereby form one side face of a lead chamber, and a wall surface δ on the opposite side to one wall surface γ is faced to a held part A2 of an arm A stored by the cover 15, to thereby hold an insertion state of one end A1 of the arm A into an insertion hole 19E.
