<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor that can output an image list, which is easy to view at a glance for a user. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The image processor allocates image layout areas 23 to video image files or still image files. The processor then arranges the still index images 21 within the image layout area 23 corresponding to the still image files. The processor extracts frame image information corresponding to the frame images from each video image file, and outputs an image list 20 in which video index images 22 corresponding to the extracted frame image information are arranged in the one image layout area 23 allocated to the corresponding video image file.
