<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate manufacturing method for a flexographic printing plate by which the plate-manufacturing period of time can greatly be shortened, and a development is not necessary resulting from the elimination of the generation of dregs. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A flexographic printing plate original plate has an image forming layer having a particle which expands by heat on a supporting body. The flexographic printing plate original plate is heated along an image, and the image section which has been obtained by heating has a rise of 0.1 mm or more to a non-heated section which is a non-image section. Also, the film thickness after the rising is 30 times or less to the film thickness before the rising by this plate manufacturing method for the flexographic printing plate.
