<p>The present invention relates to a slide apparatus for a portable device having a first unit and a second unit which engage in a sliding movement. The slide apparatus for interconnecting the first unit and the second unit includes a main body having a base connected to the first unit, a slider connected to the second unit and which slides along an axial line for movement relative to the main body, and an elastic member for providing an elastic force between the main body and the slider. The main body has a projected surface that projects relative to the base. The slider has first and second legs which contact the projected surface of the main body and are disposed along a first movement direction of the axial line. The projected surface of the main body has a first groove and a second groove for accommodating the first leg and the second leg, respectively. The first and second legs or the first and second grooves include tilted surfaces for enabling the legs to be released from the grooves in the direction opposite to the first movement direction.</p> |
