<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a short-circuited dark dot of an organic EL element inconspicuous in an organic EL display device. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of organic EL elements to which currents distributed from a driving current Ids from one driving transistor are supplied are disposed in one pixel. In each organic EL element, upper electrodes 508 are individually patterned and drawn to auxiliary wiring 515 by drawing-out patterns 509 and connected by connection holes 508a. The drawing patterns 509 comprise thin film, are narrow and serve as fuse resistance elements. When one organic EL element is short-circuited, almost all the driving currents Ids flow in the organic EL elements, and the current flow to the drawing-out pattern 509 to burn off it by heat generation, and the damaged organic EL element is automatically changed from a short-circuit sate to an open-circuit state.
