<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collapsing structure of a pole in which a part exposed on the ground is not marked, a view is excellent and a smooth and safe collapsing operation is realized. <P>SOLUTION: At least an upper end part of a stand 3 on which the pole 2 is installed protrudes upward from a reference surface 4 for installation. A lower end part of the pole 2 is attached to the stand through a rotating shaft D so as to be rotatable. An arm member 16 is provided integrally on the lower end surface of the pole. An upper link 21 connected to the arm member 16 by a pin A is connected to a lower link 22 connected to an anchor shaft C in a pit 5 by a pin B so as to form substantially a character shape of < in a pole collapsing vertical surface. A driving device 10 is provided which drives to push and pull the pin connecting part B of the upper link and the lower link so as to change an angle α of the < shaped connection of both the links. The respective parts are set so that the collapsing speed of the pole is fast when the pole begins to collapse and is slow when the collapsing operation of the pole comes near to an end.
