<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic apparatus that performs an inclination correction that corrects an inclination around an optical axis with respect to a level plane perpendicular to a direction of gravitational force of an imager. <P>SOLUTION: The photographic apparatus includes a movable part which has an imager for shooting an optical image incident through a lens, and is movable and rotatable in a plane perpendicular to an optical axis of the lens. The photographic apparatus includes a controller part which performs a movement operational processing including at least one of a first image blur correction processing for correcting image blur caused by yawing around an axis parallel with a second direction perpendicular to the optical axis and perpendicular to a first direction perpendicular to the optical axis, a second image blur correction processing for correcting image blur caused by pitching around an axis parallel with the first direction, and a movement control of a movement part for the purpose of performing an inclination correction processing based on an inclination angle of the photographic apparatus including the imager around the optical axis with respect to the horizontal plane perpendicular to the direction of gravitational force during an imaging operation by the imager that commences when a release switch is set to the ON state.
