<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator, more improved in reliability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This refrigerator 1 includes: a storing case 4 formed integral with a door 2a opening and closing a storage room 2 to store reserves; a guide part 10 for guiding the storing case 4 forward and backward according to opening and closing of the door 2a; and a shock absorber 20 for attenuating the moving speed of the storing case 4 moved to slide backward, wherein the shock absorber 20 includes an air damper 30 having a cylinder 31 having an opening 31a at the front end, a packing 34 sliding along the inner surface of the cylinder 31, a piston 32 connected to the packing 34 and moved forward and backward in a body with the storing case 4, and a cap 33 having an insert hole 33a where the piston 32 is loosely fitted and closing the opening 31a, and the outside air is taken into the cylinder 31 from between the insert hole 33a and the piston 32.
