<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weighing unit achieving size reduction without lowering weighing accuracy. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A weighing unit 8 includes: a load cell 10 in which a strain gauge 14 is stuck to an elastic body 13 having a rectangular frame shape including a fixed side 15 and a free side 16 that oppose each other; a connection member 11 which connects the free side 16 of the elastic body 13 and a loading container 5 on which an object to be weighed is loaded; and an attachment member 9, on one side of which the fixed side 15 of the elastic body 13 is fixed. A first through-hole 19 passing through from an inner peripheral surface to an outer peripheral surface is provided in the fixed side 15, and a second through-hole 12 is provided in the attachment member 9, in such a way as to overlap the first through-hole 19 viewed from the penetration direction of the first through-hole 19. The connection member 11 connected to the free side 16 is extended in the direction of the fixed side 15 with an inner peripheral surface of the free side 16 as a base end, is passed through the first through-hole 19 and the second through-hole 12, and is connected to the loading container 5 that is located in the opposite side of the load cell 10 while sandwiching the attachment member 9.
