PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit occurrence of difficulties caused by operation of a liquid jetting device when a task is performed in relation to a mounting device or a liquid container, while the mounting device is mounted on the liquid jetting device. SOLUTION: The mounting device is mounted on the liquid ejecting device when a liquid contained in the liquid container is supplied to the liquid ejecting device via a tube connected to the liquid container containing the liquid, and is provided with a mounted-state notifying section. The mounted-state notifying section can, in a mounted state in which the mounting device is mounted on the liquid ejecting device, cause the liquid ejecting device to recognize the mounted state and can, in the mounted state, cause the liquid ejecting device to recognize a not-mounted state in which the mounting device is not mounted on the liquid ejecting device.
