PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening structure of a building not impeding a locking function even in such a structure as to insert a throating plate into a cutout part formed at the end of an ALC panel and to fill a filler between a lower horizontal member of an opening reinforcing member and a sash frame. SOLUTION: The ALC panel 2, the opening reinforcing member 1 comprising a vertical member 1a and horizontal members 1b, 1c, and a sash 5 are used, and a preventing member 7 is arranged corresponding to the cutout part 2b formed at the end of the ALC panel 2 to secure sealing dimensions while avoiding the throating plate 6 mounted to a lower frame 5b of the sash 5 at the upper part of the lower horizontal member 1c. Mortar 8 filled between the lower horizontal member 1c and a lower frame 5b is thereby prevented from infiltrating into the cutout part 2b to come in contact with the ALC panel.
