<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine allowing an opening/closing mechanism of a variable winning device to be securely set while retained in appropriate positional relation, capable of effectively preventing a defective product, and permitting easy setting work. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes the variable winning device having a variable part 46T, a movable member R1 to operate to transfer the variable part 46T, and an engagement member LS1. The movable member R1 is movably attached while urged by a spindle RW2 for returning to the initial position, and the engagement member LS1 is engaged with the movable member R1 by an energizing means LS12 and retained in an engaged posture to retain the movable member R1 at the initial position not to operate. The movable member R1 is returned to the initial position by the urging by the spindle RW2 after the operation while pushing the engagement member LS1 aside to be engaged with the engagement member LS1.
