PURPOSE: A non-welding strut for a Mcpherson suspension is provided to reduce the number of parts for a shock absorber by integrating a spring seat and a shock absorber cap into a single part. CONSTITUTION: A non-welding strut for a Mcpherson suspension includes a shock absorber, an insulator assembly, a connecting tube, and a cap type spring seat. The shock absorber(1) is connected to a knuckle part of a vehicle wheel by a cylinder. The insulator assembly(4) joints a cylinder rod(2) drawn out from the shock absorber to a vehicle body. The connecting tube(7) is integrally formed on the lower spring seat supporting the bottom of a spring, with a height to surround an outer case(3) of the shock absorber. The cap type spring seat(5) includes a cap(8) formed on the connecting tube to surround the upper part of the outer case of the shock absorber. |
