PURPOSE: A use of semifluorinated alkane as a carrier of subject active material for administering by inhalation or dropping in the intrapulmonary area is provided to help gas exchange between blood of pulmonary capillary and air of pulmonary alveoli and enhance surfactant activation. CONSTITUTION: A semifluorinated alkane as a carrier of subject active material for administering by inhalation or dropping in the intrapulmonary area is used as a carrier for active material. The active material is not able to administer through oral or injection. The active material of which amount over the solubility is dissolved in a medical aid.
