<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a regulation period of travel performance, by measuring the travel performance under a vehicle stop condition, without requiring a testing facility such as a dynamo and a chassis dynamo, and a test course, in an electric drive vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This electric drive vehicle is provided with a power generator connected to an engine, a first converter connected to the power generator and for converting AC electric power output from the power generator into DC electric power, a second converter connected to the first converter and for converting DC electric power to AC electric power, a power consumption device connected to a DC circuit between the first converter and the second converter, and for consuming the DC electric power, an electric motor connected to the second converter, and wheels driven by an electric motor. The electric drive vehicle is provided with a first control mode for controlling an output of the electric motor, and a second control mode for controlling an electric power consumption consumed by the electric power consumption device, and the second control mode controls the electric power consumed in the electric power consumption device to simulate operations of the second converter and the electric motor in the first control mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
