<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that an operator using a notebook personal computer with a relatively large display whose vertical width is 200 mm to 250 mm and wearing bifocals has to operate it by frequently moving his jaw up and down for adjusting the focus, causing his fatigue and shoulder stiffness. <P>SOLUTION: A distance between the lower edge of the display and key tops at the farthest position from the operator is set to be equal to or less than 20 mm in an operational state, and thereby even the operator using bifocals can adjust the focus within the range of the whole key board and two thirds of the height of the display from the lower edge without moving his jaw up and down, thus alleviatng his fatigue and shoulder stiffness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
