PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combined article formed by combining right and left different sizes by dissembling an article composed of a pair of right and left combined articles without applying an excessive burden of an expense to a consumer.

SOLUTION: A merchandise ordering device comprises: a size distribution maintaining means 11 which maintains size distribution statistics on the size of an article composed of a pair of right and left combined articles; a sales volume calculating means 12 which calculates a sales schedule amount for the combined article having almost the same distribution as the size distribution and combining different-size articles on the right and left; and a stocking amount calculating means 13 which calculates a purchase amount at each size of the article composed of the pair of right and left combined articles necessary for the sales schedule amount of calculated combined articles. If the size distribution is nearly identical to a sales distribution, this eliminates an unsold article and maximally avoids an ineffectual state that the article composed of the pair of right and left combined articles remains unsold finally. Therefore, the article can be provided at the same price as that of a standard article without applying the excessive burden of the expense to the consumer.
