<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress image deterioration (blurred images) caused by an imaging blur. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging blur correction amount determination unit 21 outputs a signal T1 obtained by performing HPF processing on an image signal T0 as a correction signal for suppressing image blur. An addition unit 22 adds the correction signal T1 to the image signal T0, and outputs an output signal T2 obtained as a result. A frequency switching unit 24 converts a moving speed MV0 into a moving speed MV1 corresponding to a display speed. An LPF unit 23 determines the number of taps of a moving average filter based upon the converted moving speed MV1. Then the LPF unit 23 performs processing by the moving average filter on a corrected image signal T2, and outputs an image signal T3 obtained as a result. Characteristics of the signal T3 match characteristics of a hold blur. The present invention is applicable to a television system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
