PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair dressing agent securing high hair dressing ability and hair dressing durability, yet suppressing sticky feeling of usage. SOLUTION: It is found that moisturizing action and gloss for hair are secured similarly as in case of blending other polyhydric alcohols while securing high hair dressing ability and hair dressing durability, yet suppressing sticky feeling of usage by blending a glycerol monoalkyl ether in the hair dressing agent though the compound is a polyhydric alcohol. More specifically, it is found that the above problem can be dissolved by providing a hair dressing agent containing a solid oil content, a liquid oil content, and water, and blended with a 0.01-2 mass% in all of a glycerol monoalkyl ether.
