PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autoclave which easily decreases a water amount remaining on the bottom side in a used can body and easily prevents the deterioration due to corrosion on the bottom side. SOLUTION: The autoclave includes the can body 10 having a storage port 13 and a lid 15 for opening/closing the storage port 13, a vacuum pump 20 for reducing a pressure inside the can body 10, a steam supply device 30 for supplying steam into the can body 10, a water discharge conduit 40 having a valve 75 communicating with the inside the can body 10, and a pressure reducing conduit 50 having a valve 85 communicating with inside the can body 10. An inflow section 60 of a drain water into the discharge conduit 40 and the inflow section 60 of steam into the pressure reducing conduit 50 are arranged below the can body 10.
