PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic actuator having a structure in which a coil disposed outside two stator frames so as to surround a bearing part of a rotor is easily attached and detached. SOLUTION: In a housing chamber constituted of a first stator frame 1 and a second stator frame 3, a rotor 4 is disposed which is supported via bearings in their bearing holes 1c, 3d. A thin wall part 1b-2 is formed on a wall part 1b of the first stator frame 1, and a portion corresponding to the thin wall part 1b-2 is formed on the wall part 3a of a second stator frame 3 as a symmetrically shaped thin wall part 3a-2. An air-core coil 5 is inserted from the side, disposed so as to surround the bearings holes 1c, 3d, and then brought into a fitted state by fitting a yoke 6 into the first stator frame 1.
