PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technological field for an information processing system or the like which can control a plurality of remote controlling equipments. SOLUTION: A system control part 37 configures a plurality of functions a remote control terminal 2 can execute based on a control signal of a remote control terminal 1. When an identification signal and control signal from the remote control terminal input in the system control part 37, the system control part 37 identifies the source remote control terminal from the input identification signal. The system control part 37 refers to a table in which functions that can be executed by each remote control terminal are specified out of a plurality of functions an information reproducing/recording apparatus 3 has per remote control terminal recorded in a storage part 33 to determine if the function indicated by the input control signal is the function that can be executed by the source remote control terminal or not, and permits if an executable function or disallows otherwise.
