<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching control method of a transformer coupled booster which can make the transformer coupled booster compact by minimizing an increase in the exciting current of a transformer in the transformer coupled booster. <P>SOLUTION: A primary coil current flowing through the primary coil of a transformer and a secondary coil current flowing through the secondary coil of the transformer are detected, respectively, a current difference between the primary coil current and secondary coil current thus detected is calculated, the periods of on-interval and off-interval of four arms provided in a transformer coupled booster are maintained constant based on the calculated current difference, and switching is controlled so that the ratio of on-interval and off-interval of a first arm and the ratio of on-interval and off-interval of a third arm are always the same. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
