<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force transmitting device improving traction performance in a low μ way while suppressing the occurrence of a tight corner braking phenomenon even when steering is steered at a vehicle speed not more than a speed equivalent to a starting condition of a vehicle, and also to provide a control method therefor, and a differential limiting device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When the vehicle speed V is smaller that the upper limit value in a prescribed vehicle speed range equivalent to the starting condition of the vehicle 1, an ECU 13 executes tight corner control when the steering angle θs of a steering wheel 11 is not less than a prescribed steering angle causing the tight corner braking phenomenon. When the slip condition of the vehicle 1 is detected, based on each wheel speed Vfr, Vfl, Vrr, Vrl, the ECU 13 does not execute the tight corner control even when the vehicle speed V is smaller than the upper limit value and the steering angle θs is not less than the prescribed steering angle.
