<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage machine capable of detecting the figure of a user. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the massage machine, the load of a motor 17a is changed by the abutment of a treater 7 to the body of the user and the operation speed of the treater 7 is changed according to the load. The massage machine includes a speed information acquisition part 21 for acquiring speed information relating to the operation speed of the treater 7, a position acquisition part 22 for acquiring the elevating/lowering position of the treater 7 corresponding to the position at which the speed information is acquired, and a figure detection part 23 for obtaining the recessed and projecting shape of the body of the user on the basis of the speed information corresponding to the respective positions on the track of the treater 7.
