Disclosed are coated particles wherein the surfaces of particles having an average particle diameter of more than 1 µm, at least portions around the surfaces of which are composed of a calcium phosphate compound, are coated with a polyamine compound. The coated particles are produced by preparing a dispersion liquid containing a liquid including at least water or an alcohol, the particles and the polyamine compound, and then heating the dispersion liquid so that the surfaces of the particles are coated with the polyamine compound. The liquid used for preparing the dispersion liquid is preferably one mainly composed of methanol.
