<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a photopolymer plate, wherein the photopolymer plate is capable of printing with a satisfactory balance between the high definition and the high density in the solid printed portions, the ink blot of the plate surface can be prevented over a long period of time, and the photopolymer plate can be spared, to the highest possible degree, from cumbersome operations such as plate wiping in the printing process. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is the method for producing the water-developable photopolymer plate for letterpress printing comprising an exposure step, a development step and a post-exposure step, wherein the photopolymer plate is brought into contact with a liquid containing a modified silicone compound and/or a fluorine compound during or after the exposure step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
