<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP telephone terminal which puts file transmitting and receiving functions in an IP telephone system to practical use and utilizes a resource of the IP telephone system effectively even for other use than a voice call and a program which a computer to control the IP telephone terminal reads. <P>SOLUTION: In the IP telephone terminal of a transmission side, a transmission file, including a file header showing a function to instruct execution by the IP telephone terminal of a reception side, data used during executing the function; and data for displaying and printing to conduct a display, or the like, according to the execution result of the function is generated. Since it is transmitted to the IP telephone terminal of the receiving side, the function is executable by the instruction from the IP telephone terminal of the transmission side, in the IP telephone terminal of the reception side, and the display is carried out, corresponding to the execution result of the function.
