PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique discriminating high polymer compound membrane with little contraction due to environmental change, simply, without implementing any testing of environmental change. SOLUTION: When relaxation time (T1ρ) of high polymer compound membrane is measured using solid NMR device of 7.05 tesla of magnetic field intensity, a discriminating technique is presented of high polymer compound membrane characterized by selecting the high polymer compound membrane with little time change of T1ρ. If T1ρ is T1ρ (ms) of 13C nucleus at temperature of 80°C measured using a solid NMR device of 7.05 tesla of magnetic field intensity, and variation of T1ρ (ms) to lapse time t (hour) after starting the measurement is expressed by formula (1): T1ρ=a×ln(t)+b, a discriminating technique of the aforementioned high polymer compound membrane is presented to select high polymer compound membrane where coefficient a of formula (1) satisfies formula (2): 0≤a≤25.
