<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire processing device capable of preventing defect from occurring in processing performed after cutting a coated electric wire by detecting bending in an end portion of an electric wire before performing the processing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electric wire processing device 1 is provided with: a clamp 11 holding a part of an electric wire 10 close to an end portion thereof; a terminal crimping unit crimping a terminal to an end portion 10a of the electric wire 10; a transportation unit transporting the clamp 11 to the terminal crimping unit; a first sensor L1 detecting the end portion 10a of the electric wire 10 held by the clamp 11 passing a predetermined position while the clamp 11 is being transported to the terminal crimping unit; a second sensor L2 detecting a root portion 10b of the electric wire 10 passing a predetermined position; and a calculation control portion detecting bending in the electric wire 10 based on a time lag between the detections by the first and second sensors L1 and L2.
