PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column base structure which can establish compatibility between an increase in its flexural strength and an improvement in its workability. SOLUTION: This column base structure includes: a tubular column member 22 which constitutes a column of a building structure; a column base bracket 26 which is joined to a lower end surface of the column member 22, in which an opening 32 communicating with an internal space of the column member 22 is formed, and which is installed on the top surface of foundation concrete 24 via an anchor bolt 28; and an intermediate reinforcing member 30, the upper portion of which is protruded above the foundation concrete 24, and the lower portion of which is embedded in the foundation concrete 24. A grout material 50 is infilled into a space between an inner peripheral surface of the column member 22 and an upper outer peripheral surface of the intermediate reinforcing member 30 passing through the opening 32 and inserted into the internal space.
